New reviews sit for weeks
People check recent replies before they call. A stack of unanswered notes looks like nobody is behind the counter.
For owner-operated local shops
Local Replies writes and posts Google review replies in your voice, then adds one weekly Google Business update. You keep running the shop. We keep the front window talking.

The gap
People check recent replies before they call. A stack of unanswered notes looks like nobody is behind the counter.
A mixed review with no reply reads like you don’t care. A 5-star with no thank-you is a missed handshake.
Google Business posts keep you in the neighborhood feed. Most owners mean to write them. Tuesday gets away.
How it works
Forward new reviews, or let us post through Google’s own tools. We never ask for your Google password.
From a short voice brief — how you talk, what you stand behind, words you would never use — we write replies that sound like you, not a chain.
Fast shops let us post. Careful shops approve first. Either way, every new review gets a reply within one business day.
Before / after
This is the kind of reply we write: specific, accountable, and in the shop’s voice. More in sample replies.
Carla M. · 3 stars · Ridge Heating & Air
“Tech showed up 40 minutes late and the quote was higher than I expected. Unit works now though.”
No public reply. The next person who googles the shop only sees the complaint.

Reply from Dave, owner
“Carla — sorry we ran late. That’s on us, not you. The quote went up because the capacitor was shot and we replaced it instead of sending you home with a patch; I should have called before we started. Glad the house is cooling. If anything feels off this week, call the shop and ask for me.”

Pricing
Built for shops that get a handful of Google reviews a month — not call centers. If volume spikes, we still reply. If you want out, you cancel.
Local Replies, monthly
Setup covers the voice brief, a pass over recent unreplied reviews, and how we’ll post. Email hello@getlocalreplies.com — no password, no portal to learn first.
FAQ
Drafts are assisted. Every reply is edited to sound like the owner — never a canned bot. We don’t paste templates. A person checks tone, names, and facts before anything is posted.
No. We never ask for a Google password. You can forward new reviews each week, or grant posting access through Google’s own tools. Your login stays yours.
You send a few real emails or past replies, plus three things you never want said. We keep a short voice card and update it whenever you correct us. If a reply doesn’t sound like you, we rewrite it.
Owner-operated local shops — HVAC, auto, dental, salon, restaurant, gym, and neighbors in that world. If you know your regulars by name, you’re the right size.
We don’t match heat with heat. We acknowledge what happened, own what is ours, and invite the person back to the shop or a phone call. We won’t invent facts, offer discounts you didn’t approve, or argue in public.
Your choice. Some owners want a same-day thumbs-up. Others hand us the keys after the first two weeks. You can switch later.
One useful update in your voice: a seasonal reminder, a real job (no made-up customers), hours, or a simple “we’re here.” No stock photos, no fake urgency.
Email hello@getlocalreplies.com with your shop name and Google Business link. Setup is $49. Then $149 a month. Cancel anytime by email; we stop at the end of the paid month and send a last recap.
